There is a hill in Alta that we love to climb to catch the sunset over the sleepy little town.  Here we are looking to the south towards Kåfjord.

When the snow is here, even the sea is silent and the boats sleep together, nice and warm, at the marina.

Tromsø city is on the east side of Tromsø island. The island is connected to the mainland via the Tromsø bridge and the Tromsøsund tunnel that goes under the sea.

In winter Tromsø is just a back to back of sunrises and sunsets. You can only tell which one you are looking at by checking your watch.
