Alphabet
NOTE: The Norwegian Alphabet uses the standard Western Alphabet with 26 characters, even though not all sounds and characters are used in the modern Norwegian language. Cc, Qq, Ww, Xx & Zz where used in Medieval times, however today they are only used for names and international words. The Norwegian Alphabet also contains Ææ, Øø & Åå. These sounds are vowels and are used in all Scandinavian languages.
