Japan is the Land of the Rising Sun. In Norway the sun rises, but it gets higher and higher every day until it doesn't rise anymore. Not until next year. Norway is the Land of the Rising Rising Sun.
This is my first comment from Japan, the Land of the Rising Sun!
I’m so interested in Norway’s culture that your story is always interesting.
I can get a lot of secrets of the beautiful country, sitting at home, far away from you.

I’m impressed at how many Japanese are interested in Norway. I think the Northern Lights helps ;).
Bonjour! Hello!
I always love to read your stories about Norway and also Australia.
I haven’t been there but I heard lovely things regarding the said two countries.
Both countries have a high standard of living and costs of living and probably contesting for the first spot this 2011. I have plans to migrate and am considering to study for a bachelors degree but I have difficulty which of the two should I choose.
Could you give me an advise or recommendation? 🙂
Thanks in advance.

All Bachelor degrees in Norway are taught in Norwegian. There may be some subjects taught in English due to international lecturers but the core subjects are Norwegian. Plus it is compulsory to take a philosophy subject in all Bachelor degrees which are only taught in Norwegian. So I guess it’s Australia then? 😉
I guess so… I really do want to experience the student life in Australia though tuition fees there are A$27.000+ per annum (BSc Petroleum Engineering in UWA, Adelaide Uni). And Norwegian universities don’t have tuition fees (Stavanger, NTNU)… sign.
I think I have to learn Norwegian language then..
I love this! Hilsen fra japan 🙂
