		<description>What kind of tree is that?  It looks like a tamarack, which is common in Canada, but I didn&#039;t think grew in Europe.  Is it an indigenous species?  Beautifully photographed, by the way.

The tree is a larch.  They grow in the cold north of the world so I guess Canada should have these trees too. ;)&lt;/em&gt;</description>
