I had my baby girl, Frøya, on the 11th of September, so am going to my first mothers group on Tuesday.. I am a little nervous about it and am bringing my fiance too, as I need a translator and a friendly hand to hold. I hope my experience will be as positive as yours was!

With my last one I didn’t go to a mothers group just because of the fear of the conversation. But you are right – it is the best way to get to know people and get friends for the kids.

I find that I’m in a ‘different place’ than the other mothers. I tend to be a little young for my age and into technology which doesn’t seem to fit into mothers group….lol. But – you know, my kids would love some friends…lol. Probably every mother feels the same way about mother’s group?

Oh, how you made me laugh when you said “you crave any conversation that doesn’t have the word ‘breast’ or ‘vomit’ in it.” How I understand!!!!!!!!!

There are times I think I put my mind in the freezer….and forgot to dethaw it……
