It is very typical for Norwegians to have blue eyes but it looks like this little fella will have brown just like his big sister and Mamma. It seems that brown eyes draw more attention in Norway whereas blue eyes are more favoured back home. It takes an Aussie to stop the ‘recession’ in this Norwegian family ;D.
I think Autumn is my favourite season in Norway – the weather is still warm here in Tromsø, the sunsets come down over the mountains again and the blueberries are ripe for the picking.

The further ‘out of the way’ you go the more common it is to see folk cottages standing by the side of roads, along fjords or in a thicket of trees, minding their own business.
This is our view to the west. After work the shore becomes alive with activity. Tromsøværing (the Tromsø folk) make the most of the afternoon sun with fishing, jogging and rollerskiing.
