How much snow do you have there now? My daughter’s in Oslo and is complaining that it’s getting cold but no doubt it’s much worse up north, especially without the sun.

the picture makes me miss summer. it is currently snowing outside and the wind is blowing like nobody’s business. i miss the sun

Tromsø has just hit the point where the sun doesn’t come over the horizon anymore. I’m amazed at how quickly it happened. Have to wait til mid-January now before we can see the sun again – yikes!

Why is the most BEAUTIFUL places in the world seem to have the harshest winters. Alaska is like that, and so many other places.
