Ever since I was a teenager, and saw this beautiful programme on TV about Tromsø, I’ve wanted to go there. And this Fall I will, although it’ll only be for a few hours while passing through on Hurtigruten. But I’m really looking forward to it.
You have wonderful pictures from Nordkapp, I can’t wait to go there as well on the same trip. Must be a magical feeling standing there, next to the Globe…
Writing on my own blog about being a Dane, living in Norway. Been doing so since 2007. Moved to blogspot last year, but still have a link to the old blog. Guess I like to inform other Danes about what a beautiful country Norway is, and that they have it right “next door”. Norway is such a big, big country, and have so much to offer. I am still amazed, and I have so much I want to experience myself.
Alta is one of the places I’d really like to go to, and preferebly together with my 11 yo son. We both have a thing about Aurora Borealis… Any good tips on which time of the year would be best to experience that?
About the Tromsø Palm; I saw this on Andøya, and know them best as “Bjørneklo” (Bears Claw) from Denmark. Can be a painful experience getting too near, yes…
